What can you expect?

Climb aboard a powerful RIB speedboat from Jan Thiel Beach and feel the adrenaline rush as you fly over the waves to Klein Curaçao. Upon arrival, enjoy snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters - with a little luck, you might even spot sea turtles. Explore the island, hike to the iconic lighthouse, or admire the impressive shipwrecks along the coast.

Around lunchtime, enjoy a delicious barbecue lunch, including vegetarian and vegan options. Unlimited ice-cold soft drinks, beer, wine, seltzers, and water are included throughout the day. The return trip to Curaçao takes only 30 minutes - often fast enough to overtake all other boats on the way.

Know before you go:

The crossing is a true speedboat experience: fast, adrenaline-pumping, and windy.
Because of the speed, the risk of seasickness is minimal. Ideal for people prone to motion sickness.
This excursion is not recommended for people with back or neck problems, nor for pregnant women.
Upon arrival on the island, you will have to wade through waist-deep water to reach the shore. Therefore, wear swimwear or waterproof clothing.
There are few, if any, restrooms on the island for this excursion.
The total time on Klein Curaçao is approximately 4 hours.
Due to the small scale (maximum 18 people per boat), the atmosphere is intimate and personal.
During rough seas, the sailing time may be slightly longer than 45 minutes, depending on wind and waves. Safety and comfort are always our top priorities.

Booking this tour will initiate an enquiry for availability. Booking requests do not guarantee availability.
We aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours.
If there is no availability for your selected date, we will contact you to discuss alternative dates.
In the event that no alternative date is suitable, you will receive a full refund to your card.
Please note that when booking this tour you will pay a downpayment and you will be required to pay the remaining balance at least 24 hours before your tour date via a payment link provided by email.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

A cancellation up to 24 hours prior to departure of the tour entitles the guest to a 100% refund.
Less than 24 hours prior to departure, the guest receives no refund unless due to illness accompanied by a valid doctor's statement.
In case of illness, only the person who is ill will receive a 100% refund. Other participants within the same booking that cancel the tour will not receive a refund unless otherwise decided by the supplier depending on the circumstances.
No-shows, or if you miss the tour because you are too late, and cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled activity will be charged the full price.
In case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances the tour will be rescheduled, if rescheduling is not possible or the new time is inconvenient for you, a full refund will be issued.

Zanzibar Restaurant – Jan Thiel Beach The restaurant was able to easily accommodate our group of nine at one large table. We all enjoyed our food, and the service was pretty good. The restaurant is outdoors but has plenty of covered seating, so you still feel like you’re dining indoors — just with that breezy beach vibe. Since it’s part of the beach area, there’s paid parking, but it’s convenient if you’re already visiting Jan Thiel. Overall, it was a nice spot and a good experience.

The atmosphere is fantastic. You're beachside with great music, cool breeze, and decent drinks. The food is okay, but the service is horrible. They are so incredibly slow and customer service is generally not a priority. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place at all unless you're the beach chairs. If you're going just for the restaurant, I would highly advise against.

Just service sucks: atmosphere excellent but staff look more into talking with each other than serving you. And when you do go up to them to get a drink at the bar it’s takes over 20 min for the drink to come. Too bad cause the spot location is 10/10 for Sunset
