What can you expect?

This magical encounter at Dolphin Academy begins at either 8:30, 11:00, and 14:00. While standing in waist-deep water you will be able to gently pet a dolphin who will then give you a kiss and a handshake. The trainer will teach you all about dolphins, their body parts, and their behaviors. After the information about dolphins you will continue with interactive program in the water that takes about 20 minutes. Prior to the program, you will receive instructions from the dolphin trainers. After the encounter, we advise that you stay and walk around in the Sea Aquarium. You can learn more about Curacao's fascinating sea life, feed the nurse sharks, as well as the frolicking flamingos! A great day out for the family.

Know before you go:

Entrance to the Sea Aquarium is included for participants
Babies up to and including 11 months of age are free of charge
Children ages 1 – 4 get a special price of $65
Toddlers and babies must be held by their parents
Children below a height of 1.30 m (4.27 ft) must be accompanied by a paying adult
For each child under 1.30 m (4.27 ft), there must be one paying adult present
Please arrive fifteen minutes before the program begins
This activity is safe for pregnant women
Family and friends are more than welcome to take photographs from the observer areas, no cameras allowed in the water
All observers, including parents/guardians signing waivers for minors, are required to pay the entrance fee at Curacao Sea Aquarium
After your encounter, you can visit the gift store for pictures or a nice souvenir
There is a limit of max of 6 people, per 1 dolphin

Additional information:

Dolphin Academy is one of the only facilities in the world that works with trained dolphins in the open sea.
The dolphins reside on the premises of the Curacao Sea Aquarium in four primary lagoons interconnected by secondary basins and canals. The lagoons are in contact with the ocean, allowing a constant flow of fresh seawater and numerous fish and invertebrate species.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

A cancellation up to 24 hours prior to departure of the tour entitles the guest to a 100% refund.
Less than 24 hours prior to departure, the guest receives no refund unless due to illness accompanied by a valid doctor's statement.
In case of illness, only the person who is ill will receive a 100% refund. Other participants within the same booking that cancel the tour will not receive a refund unless otherwise decided by the supplier depending on the circumstances.
No-shows, or if you miss the tour because you are too late, and cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled activity will be charged the full price.
In case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances the tour will be rescheduled, if rescheduling is not possible or the new time is inconvenient for you, a full refund will be issued.

It's a really nice place to see the aquarium and dolphin show. We didn't do the dolphin swims, submarine, or deep ocean lens, but it was still totally worth it. Check their website for the daily schedule. There's plenty to see with just your basic entry ticket.

Very nice place, you can see a lot of from the sea And life under the water. Better to check times of events in seaquarium. It is better to attend when feeding or shows are presentw. You can buy ticket online or at the entrance. Parking is allowed outside of whole Complex. 3usd

Amazing experience and fantastic customer service

It has taken me a while to get around to writing this review, but I felt it was important to share our experience because the customer service we received from Dolphin Academy was nothing short of exemplary. We booked the dolphin swim experience for our family of four — two adults and two children, aged 12 and 9. We were visiting Curaçao as part of a cruise, so we had booked almost a year in advance for the one day our ship was due to be in port. It was something we had all been looking forward to and was expected to be one of the highlights of our holiday. Then, two days before our visit, disaster struck. We received a letter in our cabin advising us that the ports on our itinerary had been swapped around. This meant we would now be in Curaçao on a Monday — a day Dolphin Academy is normally closed. Our hearts sank. With very limited internet access on the ship, I managed to send a late-night email explaining the situation, but I had very little expectation that anything could be done. However, the next morning I received a reply asking me to give them a little time to see what they could arrange. After several WhatsApp messages, they somehow managed to reschedule us for their closed Monday, along with another group from our ship. I was genuinely amazed and incredibly grateful. They even arranged for a photographer to come in especially for us. The experience itself was absolutely amazing and felt incredibly personal. There were only eight guests in the entire park. Although the rest of the facility was closed, we fully expected that and were simply grateful that they had made the experience possible at all. I cannot recommend Dolphin Academy highly enough. The staff went far above and beyond to help us, and they truly deserve the highest praise. This was outstanding customer service and an unforgettable experience for our family.

Honeymoon excursion!

We had the best experience of our lives. We are on our honeymoon and my wife loves dolphins. She has swam with them before but this experience changed our lives! The price is right for the experience you receive! Such a great time!!!
