What can you expect?

This tour combines the thrill of a Via Ferrata ascent with the excitement of real outdoor rock climbing—no prior experience required.

The adventure begins at the Rock Climbing Curaçao (RCC) shop, where participants receive all necessary gear. From there, the guide drives the group to the Tafelberg in the RCC minivan (approx. 10 minutes). Once parked, a short 15-minute hike leads to the start of the Via Ferrata route.

A Via Ferrata is a protected climbing course equipped with a fixed steel cable along the rock wall. Unlike traditional climbing, where a partner manages the rope, participants secure themselves directly to the cable for continuous protection throughout the ascent. With expert supervision and clear instructions from the guide, beginners can safely enjoy this unique experience.

The Via Ferrata leads to the summit of the Tafelberg, a broad platform offering impressive views. From there, the guide takes participants to the nearby climbing area. If it’s someone’s first time rock climbing, the guide gives a thorough explanation of the basics before belaying them on the wall.

This tour is ideal for anyone looking to try climbing in a safe, supportive environment while exploring one of Curaçao’s most striking landscapes.

You will be required to sign a waiver, you will receive this in your confirmation email, or you can fill it in at the beginning of the hike. Make sure you arrive early if you still need to sign the waiver.

Reservation process:

Booking this tour will initiate an enquiry for availability. Booking requests do not guarantee availability.
We aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours.
If there is no availability for your selected date, we will contact you to discuss alternative dates.
In the event that no alternative date is suitable, you will receive a full refund to your card.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

A cancellation up to 24 hours prior to departure of the tour entitles the guest to a 100% refund.
Less than 24 hours prior to departure, the guest receives no refund unless due to illness accompanied by a valid doctor's statement.
In case of illness, only the person who is ill will receive a 100% refund. Other participants within the same booking that cancel the tour will not receive a refund unless otherwise decided by the supplier depending on the circumstances.
No-shows, or if you miss the tour because you are too late, and cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled activity will be charged the full price.
In case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances the tour will be rescheduled, if rescheduling is not possible or the new time is inconvenient for you, a full refund will be issued.

Absolutely amazing experience! Jaime was thoughtful and patient and made sure we had the best routes for our experience level and ensured we were safe the entire time. We did the 1/2 with abseiling and that was amazing. The repelling was perfect and a great way to end the adventurous day. Great cruise excursion as they picked us up from the port without issues and cheaper than a taxi would have been. 2 adults and 2 teens - great time for everyone!
