Looking for an unforgettable adventure on Curaçao? This Via Ferrata & Abseiling tour combines breathtaking views, adrenaline, and accessible adventure, all in one experience. The journey begins at the Rock Climbing Curaçao (RCC) shop, where participants receive a short introduction and are outfitted with all the necessary gear before heading to Tafelberg (a 10-minute drive).

After a 15-minute hike, the Via Ferrata route begins—climbing the rock face using a fixed steel cable system. A Via Ferrata is a protected climbing path where participants secure themselves to a steel cable anchored into the rock. Unlike traditional climbing, there’s no need for a belay partner; climbers clip into the cable for continuous safety as they ascend.

No previous climbing experience is needed, and the entire route is guided and securely managed. Reaching the summit is a thrilling accomplishment, rewarded with stunning panoramic views from the Proa lookout point.

The adventure ends with a heart-pounding 50-meter abseil through “El Abismo,” a vertical descent into the mountain’s core. Thanks to experienced guides and top-tier equipment, the entire experience feels as safe as it is exhilarating.

Refund policy:

A cancellation up to 24 hours prior to departure of the tour entitles the guest to a 100% refund.
Less than 24 hours prior to departure, the guest receives no refund unless due to illness accompanied by a valid doctor's statement.
In case of illness, only the person who is ill will receive a 100% refund. Other participants within the same booking that cancel the tour will not receive a refund unless otherwise decided by the supplier depending on the circumstances.
No-shows, or if you miss the tour because you are too late, and cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled activity will be charged the full price.
In case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances the tour will be rescheduled, if rescheduling is not possible or the new time is inconvenient for you, a full refund will be issued.

It was an amazing experience. 💖 I would definitely recommend this, if climbing is something you like to do. 🤗 First, we drove to the location, and from there we hiked up the mountain. Once at the top, the kids did Via Ferrata, abseiling, and climbing routes 1, 2, 3 and The Sugar Cane. 🙏🏿 The guides were excellent at what they do, very kind, patient, helpful, and thoughtful. It was as safe as safe can be. 😉 The bathroom is very clean and love the Spiderman themed wallpaper. 😉 All in all 10 out of 10. Thank you very much for a great experience. 🙏🏿

What a wonderful time climbing. So good I booked their Via ferrata with my dad (who had never been climbing but loved it!) :) Family owned business and wonderful climbing. Good instruction if you want it, graded climbs for both novice, beginner, and seasoned climbers. They also have guided hikes with amazing views of the island and the sea. The people who own it are also so sweet!

In 2024 did a full daytour, where I got the climbing virus (again). Was a awesome day. I went back in 2025 for some climbing with a guide (somewhere else) to learn more about multi-pitch. Now 2026 back again to climb with the owner (now my friend) to do some harder climbs. Tafelberg is a beautiful place to climb. From difficulty 4 till 7b or something.
