What can you expect?

The Stand Up Paddle Tour begins at 10 am at Windsurfing Curacao at Caracasbaai. The Spanish Water is an astounding lagoon, characterized by mangrove forests and outlined by beautiful villas and the impressive Tafel Berg. Some parts of the lagoon are too narrow to reach by boat. With the guided Stand Up Paddle tour you will learn to paddle standing on a SUP board while taking in some breathtaking views and learn more about the flora and fauna and history.

Where will this tour take you?

The tour is on the Spanish Water and takes you along the mangroves. A very beautiful natural area on Curacao where you can really only get to with this SUP tour. In the mangroves the water is very calm, no waves. So you stand nice and stable on the board without wobbling all the time. Of course there will be a guide along who will tell all kinds of interesting stories about the nature reserve you are going through. After about an hour there is a small break and you are offered something to drink and a snack. During the tour pictures will be taken, which will be sent to you digitally free of charge afterwards.

This SUP tour is suitable for beginners and advanced paddlers. If you have never been on a Stand-Up Paddle board before, no worries. It's easy to learn and you'll get clear instructions beforehand so you'll be well prepared to hit the water.

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

A cancellation up to 24 hours prior to departure of the tour entitles the guest to a 100% refund.
Less than 24 hours prior to departure, the guest receives no refund unless due to illness accompanied by a valid doctor's statement.
In case of illness, only the person who is ill will receive a 100% refund. Other participants within the same booking that cancel the tour will not receive a refund unless otherwise decided by the supplier depending on the circumstances.
No-shows, or if you miss the tour because you are too late, and cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled activity will be charged the full price.
In case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances the tour will be rescheduled, if rescheduling is not possible or the new time is inconvenient for you, a full refund will be issued.

The best place on the island to rent paddle boards or take lessons on paddle boarding, wind surfing or foiling. Max is a gracious host. He knows the area well and provides unparalleled direction, making everything a positive experience. Kaylee provided expert direction on the fundamentals of wind surfing taking it from land to water. Her ongoing pointers and patience made it easy for me (beginner) to feel the experience of wind surfing. A must visit.
