Please read the reviews. If you wait all year to go on vacation this would not be a good choice. I have been to many Dreams Resorts. This one missed the mark. The rooms are a disappointment. Very outdated, bathrooms are worse. I had to fix the toilet myself. Called for towels and never got them. The ceiling⁸ in the bathroom would fall apart when you shut the door because the drop ceiling was rubbing the top of the door. When you go to a resort out of the country you always know the food is hit or miss. The food here was definitely a miss. Of all the Dreams I have been to the buffet was open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not here. It was open twice the whole 7 days for dinner. When you have a child the buffet is one thing you can count on.Room service took over two hours. As far as the staff Tinisha, Ray and Moises were great. The view and the beach were also perfect. Get up early if you want a seat. The beach is small with very few seats. Drink options are limited with no top shelf alcohol. There is only one beer option and I didnt meet anyone who liked it. Even though everything about the hotel was a disappointment the people we met and friends we made helped to save our trip. Spend a little more and look for higher quality hotels in the area.

Very nice hotel although the rooms need a facelift. The grounds are nice with an 'outlet' access to the beach, cove like. This definitely not a beach front hotel with full beach. Adequate lounge chairs available. The pool has nice views. There are a number of restaurants on premises and this hotel is all inclusive so food / drinks (including alcohol) included

Stayed at the Il Mare Beachfront Bungalow. They are so spacious and unique, we felt like it was our own private beach. The pool there and Blu bar were where we frequented most days. Bartenders Kevin and Jessica were amazing! They made our evenings so memorable just getting to know them. We ate breakfast daily at the buffet at Dreams. Very good for an all inclusive and the staff were so friendly. They remembered us each day and all would come to say hello even if we weren’t in their section. Dinner was also very good at Oceana, Portofino and Bloom at Zoetry. Again, great staff and service. Rendy and Kobe were our Butlers and both did an amazing job. Our only complaint all week would be with room service. Only got our coffee delivered twice and could only have pizza for dinner one night due to the Fire Show. It was excellent though!

This property absolutely should not be attached to the Hyatt or Dreams name. Our room was shockingly filthy. Upon arrival right at the official check-in time, we were told that the registration staff was in a meeting. Someone else had us fill out the check-in paperwork, then asked us to have a seat and told us someone would be with us in 5-10 minutes. We waited as group after group arrived and got checked in. We asked, but were told to wait. After an hour and asking again, the person acted surprised and said "you're still waiting?". While checking in, we were charged a higher amount than we were told. Although we had discussed in advance adding one additional child to the reservation and we had an email stating the amount owed for this, we were charged more at check-in. Next, we arrived to our room. There was one towel for 4 people and no soap in the room. We tried to call, but the phone did not work. We asked staff two separate times in person, yet never received the towels or soap. The shower/tub was also broken, really gross, and in need of repair. The A/C temp could not be altered or turned off; it was somewhat warm in the room. The TV had two channels, and it had the wavy lines across the screen to make it unwatchable anyway. One of the two bed frames in the room was broken. There was mold and mildew in many places in the room and a pair of plastic gloves left on the bathroom floor. The app showing meal times and offerings was nice, but not accurate. We attempted to eat at the grill near the pool and were told it was closed until 6pm, although the app showed it should've been open at that time. We asked if there was food available anywhere, and we were told no as the buffet closed at 3:30pm - while we were still waiting to check in. Service was also seriously lacking. We didn't expect fantastic food and it certainly was not, but at minimum we expect a clean room. After notifying the property of the issues, we did get a 'I'm shocked at the condition of your room' when I submitted a few photos, but looking at other reviews this is far from a singular occurrence. They also responded that the amount we were charged at check-in was correct and did not refund the difference or even apologize for the email communication prior to our stay stating that the amount owed would be less. We were so glad we only stayed one night.

Dreams Curacao was fine. It wasn't 5 Star as listed. The staff was great, professional, and courteous. The pool and the beach were great. The rooms, however, were like 1970's Motel rooms with rust, mold etc . . . The food was fine . . . but not 5 Star. The napkins were diner paper napkins, everything was over seasoned. 5 Star ratings are in the details . . . and Dreams lacked many of those important details. But, it was fine!
