Please read the reviews. If you wait all year to go on vacation this would not be a good choice. I have been to many Dreams Resorts. This one missed the mark. The rooms are a disappointment. Very outdated, bathrooms are worse. I had to fix the toilet myself. Called for towels and never got them. The ceiling⁸ in the bathroom would fall apart when you shut the door because the drop ceiling was rubbing the top of the door. When you go to a resort out of the country you always know the food is hit or miss. The food here was definitely a miss. Of all the Dreams I have been to the buffet was open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Not here. It was open twice the whole 7 days for dinner. When you have a child the buffet is one thing you can count on.Room service took over two hours. As far as the staff Tinisha, Ray and Moises were great. The view and the beach were also perfect. Get up early if you want a seat. The beach is small with very few seats. Drink options are limited with no top shelf alcohol. There is only one beer option and I didnt meet anyone who liked it. Even though everything about the hotel was a disappointment the people we met and friends we made helped to save our trip. Spend a little more and look for higher quality hotels in the area.

Worst service of any place I have ever been. Staff spend most of their times on their phones, with exception of the “entertainment” staff. They work hard, particularly with families(we did not have children with us but noticed). Staff cleaning rooms were good, but never seemed to have enough towels. Had to use a pillowcase for a bath mat. Seem to have a shortage of room towels, sheets, cutlery, glassware. Property kept clean, but needs updating. Great beach area, fantastic pool area, food decent enough but the restaurants were frequently closed, leaving little choice of where to eat. (Thinking staff shortages and cost cutting by the resort). Good snorkeling right from the beach. Hyatt needs to spend some money on infrastructure here and get staff trained in service. Too bad, it’s a really nice property.

Great island and location but the resort needs some love. Service can be great and terrible, depending on the person. Beds are hard. This was a Hilton hotel and not a resort style room. The beach and ocean and fantastic. I thought the food was bad, but one morning we had room service and it was better tasting. They have some preferred bungalows that are much better but are hard to get. Better service, better room and access to both Dreams and Zoetry resorts.

I will keep this short and sweet, the room was nice the staff were great and we loved the pool and beach very much. David at the hideaway bar was awesome and made the best drinks. It felt like a lot of the guests were impatient and needy and that could explain the bad reviews but tbh I’d recommend dreams to my friends and family if you are looking for a resort to sit back and relax aswell as enjoy a gorgeous island this is it.

I was nervous after reading reviews. Even reached out to my travel agent to try and change resorts! We have been Beyound excited and happy to have stayed here. The resort is smaller but so personable! The people recognize you and your party and are attentive! Food is great! And drinks are amazing! I would recommend bringing your own yeti to similar cup! The beach area is great and you can see all kinds of fish! No area is too crowded! Entertainment during the day and night are always happening! I would stay here again for sure
