We deden de Deluxe versie van de Chobolobo tour, dezelfde geweldige rondleiding door het distillatieproces maar met twee cocktails en huisgemaakt ijs van de verschillende likeursmaken aan het eind. Onze gids vertelde over alles, de geschiedenis, de vrucht die ze gebruiken, waarom de flessen eruitzien zoals ze eruitzien, echt interessanter dan verwacht. Kinderen zijn hier ook welkom, minimumleeftijd is 6, ze mogen alleen niet meedoen aan de alcoholproeverij. Geen airco in de zaal dus het wordt warm, trek iets luchtigs aan en ga vroeg of laat op de dag als dat kan. Volledig rolstoeltoegankelijk, de paar dollar extra ten opzichte van de Standard is het waard voor de extra cocktail en het ijs.

We rolled the dice and went bust on the tour. They were fully booked the day we came. No big deal though because a lovely shop assistant let us know we could go through the museum for free. That lead to a tasting of three flavors for a tip and then on to the bar area where you could buy a cocktail or two and visit the restroom. We found it interesting that they also make a menthol product similar to Vicks Vaporub. Didn’t miss the tour and actually glad we missed it.

Site of the original Curacao distillery, the displays inside teaches visitors about the process of making the product and family history of the Senior family. Visitors were able to sample the original liquor as well as other flavors. They have a store and bar to purchase drinks.
