- The duration of this activity is 1.5 hours, with a total of 30 minutes in the water
What to bring:
- Towel

Know before you go:
- Entrance to the Sea Aquarium is included for participants
- Children below a height of 1.30 m (4.27 ft) must be accompanied by a paying adult
- For each child under 1.30 m (4.27 ft), there must be one paying adult present
- Please arrive fifteen minutes before the program begins
- Swim fins are mandatory and provided by Dolphin Academy
- This experience is not accessible for pregnant women
- All observers, including parents/guardians signing waivers for minors, are required to pay the entrance fee at Curacao Sea Aquarium
- After your swim, you can visit the gift store to purchase your pictures or a nice souvenir
- Family and friends are more than welcome to take photographs from our observer areas. However, participants may not bring a camera into the water
- There is a limit of max of 6 people, per 2 dolphins
Additional information:
- Dolphin Academy is one of the only facilities in the world that works with trained dolphins in the open sea.
- The dolphins reside on the premises of the Curaçao Sea Aquarium in four primary lagoons interconnected by secondary basins and canals. The lagoons are in contact with the ocean, allowing a constant flow of fresh seawater and numerous fish and invertebrate species.
Refund and Cancellation Policy:
- A cancellation up to 24 hours prior to departure of the tour entitles the guest to a 100% refund.
- Less than 24 hours prior to departure, the guest receives no refund unless due to illness accompanied by a valid doctor's statement.
- In case of illness, only the person who is ill will receive a 100% refund. Other participants within the same booking that cancel the tour will not receive a refund unless otherwise decided by the supplier depending on the circumstances.
- No-shows, or if you miss the tour because you are too late, and cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled activity will be charged the full price.
- In case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances the tour will be rescheduled, if rescheduling is not possible or the new time is inconvenient for you, a full refund will be issued.

Family experience
This was an awesome experience for everyone, especially my kids ages 11 and 13 The instructor was very informative,interactive and friendly. We had alot of fun.

Encounter with the dolphins
We landed here on a cruise and booked this through the cruise excursions it was set up for around four hours long. We got there at 10 AM and we had an encounter with the dolphins. We spent about 20 minutes in the water with the dolphins and a professional trainer. After this, we walked through the aquarium and spent about 45 minutes doing that. There was then a shark feeding that lasted about 15 minutes at 1 o’clock and the kids all got to feed the nurse sharks that at 1:30 there was a 20 minute training demo of the dolphins where there was six trainers with 12 dolphins. It was a very educational show and it was nice. There is a restaurant inside where you can order some food or drinks. They have restrooms and showers on site. There is a gift shop one of the keys when you’re in with the dolphins you’re not allowed to take your phone or camera so they do take pictures and then they charge for those pictures at the end of your excursion. The kids really enjoyed at the staff was very professional and nice. It is a little pricey, but that’s what you get for an encounter with the dolphins. The excursion would’ve brought us back, but we chose to stay longer at the beach that was right next to it. I would highly recommend that beach was very nice and we wandered into a group of shops. You could make a whole day out of it.

An Unforgettable Experience!
The best experience of my long lifetime snorkeling with the dolphins, petting one, getting a kiss on my cheek, holding their fins like a dance partner and diving with them in the lagoon. Fantastic memory all on film and video!
